O'BRIEN who in the Bostwick Building, Tacoma, Washington, on October 18, 1893, during regular session of the Washington Commandery of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the U.S.A., did originate the custom of standing during the rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, the national anthem of the United States of America." -

Though my camera was precisely centered, the bottom of the photo appears asymmetrical; this is because the building is built on a hillside. The two sides of the entrance are of unequal length, as the sidewalk slopes upward to the right. -
