Ancient Douglas-fir trees at the Grove of the Patriarchs, Mount Rainier National Park. Both are over one thousand years old, and have just barely enough remaining foliage to keep them alive. One was truncated by a storm; the other has a dead crown. - Murhut Falls 2017
