Troy Laundry
Rooftop neon sign from the defunct Troy Laundry in Seattle. After Amazon bought the building, they gutted it and erected a skyscraper in the shell of the old brick laundry, which now provides a covered walkway leading to the entrances of the new building. The neon sign was relocated from the rooftop to hang inside. -

Aurora Bridge
Aurora Bridge, 167 feet above the water level of Lake Union. Officially called the George Washington Memorial Bridge, it opened on George Washington's 200th birthday in 1932. Between its construction and 2011, when 8-foot fences were added on either side of the pedestrian walkways, there were 230 known suicides here, a grim record exceeded only by the Golden Gate Bridge. Turtle Rock Island
Turtle Rock Island near Lincoln Rock State Park. Originally a simple rocky hill on the south bank of the Columbia River, US Highway 2 ran through it. The construction of the Rocky Reach Dam in 1960 caused the formation of Lake Entiat around this hill, cutting it off from the rest of the south bank, submerging the old US Highway 2, and creating Turtle Rock Island. It is now a protected wildlife area accessible only by boat. -
